Curved Stairlift In Mayo. January 2019

The first week of 2019 saw the addition of a new curved stairlift in Mayo when our expert Stairlift installer PJ, installed a Handicare 2000 in Crossmolina. Our customer made the decision that they need assistance when ascending and descending the stairs and our Handicare 2000 was the perfect solution to fit their narrow curved staircase. Our customer researched different companies both locally and nationally that would be able to fit a stairlift in Mayo that would suit their needs, and they contacted us to find out more. We sent our local stairlift professional Robert to visit their home for a free, no obligation assessment where he explained the different stairlifts we supply and fit. Due to the narrow staircase, Robert suggested the Handicare 2000 because it’s one of the slimmest stairlifts on the market. This stairlift comes in three standard colours, a light grey, gun metal grey or brown and comes with a neutral sand coloured seat that’s easy to wipe clean. The swivel mechanism in the seat allows the stairlift to bring you directly onto the landing level with minimum effort. The Handicare 2000 stairlift comes with a pair of remote controls to allow the chair to be parked at either the top or the bottom of the stairs and you can also adjust it to your desired level which is convenient for multiple users. This stairlift also comes with a 2 year warranty and a safety feature for obstacles – If it meets an obstruction on the stairs, it will automatically stop until the obstacle is removed. The bespoke Handicare 2000 was custom made to correspond with the specific measurements of this staircase and our stairlift fitter PJ, called to the customer and had the job done in less than three hours. He installed the dual rails and the chair and then gave the customers a demonstration on how to use the stairlift in a safe and correct manner. The clients were extremely happy with the level of professionalism that PJ demonstrated while installing the stairlift in such short space of time and thanked him for cleaning up after himself and leaving the area in which he worked, impeccable.
